Has anyone read this book? what are your thoughts and feelings on it?

This may not be TOO helpful b/c I personally haven't read it but it's on my list as a lot of my friends really enjoyed it. It's always been highly recommended.

Yeah, it IS a great book. Some of the most interesting parts are in the early parts of the book when he is describing the village before the Europeans arrived. It is also very interesting in its contrasting of the two cultures as they come into more and more contact. It's a short book and well worth the time.

yh i found it a very good read im doing a university paper on it now about nationalism and national identity
