Dont know if any of you remember me.
I may have posted these a long time back. But i still would like to hear what you all think. Anyways, pls. dont be nice. :D
Heart of darkness suffering and guilt
Be gone from this place I so lovingly built
Though in ruins and rubble it remains
Sacred memories of greatness it contains
Why has darkness consumed this place?
Why has light deserted these halls?
Constant carnage of endless wars
The vultures they seem to smile with glee
Cracked up towers doomed to fall
Dried up moat with a rancid stink
Gaping holes in a once proud wall
Dusty rooms and shattered glass
If you can see beyond these scars
You could see what made it great
How it dwarfed the mighty hills
How it dimmed the brightest light

Broken down weeping alone,
Shedding tears of blood,
Feeling around this piercing blade,
I managed to cut my wrist,
Looking beyond these empty tombs,
Of all that has been lost,
Wandering around these ancient ruins,
I witnessed my own demise,
Breaking through this heavy bonds
That holds this wandering soul
Thinking about the days to came
I lie deprived of sleep
