It seems I have always been
Looking for someone
All my life
A special someone, a friend
Who tells me what is right
From what is wrong
Who sees my madness
And says "It is mad!"
Who sees my badness
And says "It is bad!"
Who reaches out into my own hell
And brings me back to paradise.

It seems I have looked for this person

Someone came and it was...

This is a beautiful poem, a very interesting poem indeed and here someone is looking for someone ant the very search gets us going and going.

For we are afraid to be alone, and want to someone to guide us, to praise us when do good and point at us when we do wrong. Imagine there is no one to respond if you do something.

Yes, these lines don't seem to be very correct. I think it would be better if you change And says it, "it is mad!" into And says, "It is mad!" and And says it "it is bad!" into And says, "It is bad!" Would seem more appropriate.

Otherwise, the poem is okay, not much more. Not at all good as some of your poems I have read.

Lote, this is a lovely poem, but in the perversity of my mind it reminds me of Dr. Seuss (Oh the Thinks you Can Think "why are they sad, and glad and bad? I do not know, go ask your Dad!).

Lote, this is very nice. :) But I think u've got an extra "it" in the 8th and 10th line. Feels really nice to express ur feelings towards a special friend at times that way, doesnt it? :)

It's the festive season now :D Here, Sharad Utsav is known as Durga Puja (I think, as I never heard anybody calling it Sharad Utsav, atleast here in Delhi), because some of my Bengali friends call it that, and for them it's a more important festival than Dussehra or Diwali.

And, yeah, I really like this particular song by KK :D.
