but i may have mistaken the exact details. the myth they are making is German. Volsung is Icelandic, but regarding how this is related to Volsungs:

What they are "adapting" is Das Nibelungenlied, which is the german (and non fantastic) version of the Volsunga Saga. I prefer the latter, but I'll definitely see it anyway.
