Mary
Mary, you ran out on me—
Chased your dreams across the land and sea—
And you’ve been gone these twenty years and more:
But you’ve come back, (as they always do)—
For your funeral—here I sit beside of you—
Tomorrow they’ll take you through that sepulcher door:
So, I’ll just steal me a kiss—
‘Cause, Mary, I won’t be seeing you anymore!
