I love this site so much and I want to suggest something. Well, I've been thinking for awhile now that it would be awesome if Literature Network Forums will have a feature called "Name Stalking". The idea is, whenever one will post the username of another member, that member will be notified via email or directly to his/her account or whatever in the member's choosing. So the other member will know if someone had mentioned him/her in threads and it would be easier to read what that member has said about you or for other reasons.
So, what do you think?

it would be a neat feature, but not altogether something easy to code. Might be doable with Google Alerts though.

Sounds kind of tiring. :)

I'd like that sort of feature. By the way, welcome back to litnet, Gadget. :D
(Appealing to us teens & young adults, don't you think?)

Hmm, a little, but it's still good if you know who had mentioned you (this is also fascinating if someone is stabbing you at the back, hehe, jk). :D

I had a similar idea a while back about being notified when someone quotes your posts. Can't be done, but your request could be taken care of a little more easily simply by running a search for your name (supposing people spell it right).

Quote tracking does work, most sites have it.
