I Need Help Finding a Poem

I read a poem about a war, I think it was The civil war... anyways they are about to hang a man under a bridge and as he is falling he has a vision that he escapes, but in the end he actually didn't escape and he snaps his neck and dies...

I really like the poem but I just cant remember what it is called(something like "under the ____ bridge or something like that!" Thanks a bunch

It's something like the Hanging on Owl Bridge or something to that effect. I'm sure the Bridge is called Owl Bridge. I love this poem. It's such a shocker.
