There‘s a rainbow in the sky
A dark room and a flashlight
All my dreams and a man in disguise
Clouds over the ocean
Aftertaste of self-determination
A persistent sinking feeling
Across the land of confusion
Where we bury our illusions
Shaping the consciousness of our uniqueness
We strive to live up to our dreams
But in the end things are not what they seem
Debunking our fears
A buffer against aging
A mirror of our fading reflection
A moment of perception
There‘s an empty space
A fragment of grace
What is it like to be alive?

You have a wonderful expression, and a little bit contusion about what life is. In fact the way you presented is life represented. Art is the replica of life and your poem is a perfect replica of life, life reproduced or recreated. Some where I read James, my favorite writer who said he would recreate Dublin.

In fact life is something that mingles pains with pleasures. Clarity combined with illusion. Togetherness of contraries is life.

Friend, I am not a native English man. I can not understand the English language you do, but I find you as a potential poet.

That closing line brings together all of your images and ties them into a common package. Without it, you might have over-dramatized.
Well-done.
