- "his tombstone should read, "died at 30, buried at 65."
-"In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king."
-"Walk in a manner worthy of your purpose."
-"There is a landscape larger than the one you see."
- "we're here for a short time, what matters is what you leave behind."

- "his tombstone should read, "died at 30, buried at 65." "Many peoples' tombstones should read 'Died at 30, buried at 60.'" is from Nobel Prize winner Nicholas Murray Butler (http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/1931/butler-bio.html) I don't know where this is from, maybe a speech or lecture, but Butler was Columbia University president, so I suspect it's got something to do with a person who doesn't make full use of their (intellectual) capacities.
-"In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king." This is a common adage with biblical reference (the Lord smiting people with blindness (http://www.online-literature.com/bible/bible_view.php/2%20Kings?term=blind) etc. ), which can be interpreted many ways depending on context, originated in Dutch humanist Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus's "Adagia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adagia)"
-"Walk in a manner worthy of your purpose." This idea is very common--I found a variation in Ephesians 4. (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians%204%20;&version=49;) which I think is pretty self-explanatory :)

- "his tombstone should read, "died at 30, buried at 65."
The way I interprete it is that this person has intellectually and emotionally ceased to exist at 30 because of a choice or something else and finally at 65 this miserable life comes to an end.
-"In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king."
If you can understand only half of what you should and the others can't,you can make a difference and at least be heard.
This is what I think,if I'm of any help I don't know...

My epitaph shall read
I will drink myself is sorrow
I will drink myself in health
I shall drink myself in poverty
Until I drink myself in Wealth
If I should die tah' morrow
Do not feel so Low
Come share a drink beside me
where the shaded green grass grows!
