Hello Mona and Cactus!!
I'm relatively new as well, but I thought I'd say welcome anyway!
Do either of you like Matthew Reilly or James Patterson? Or are you more into the (for want of a better word) classics like Shakespeare or Emily Dickinson?

Hi
i just found this site and it is amazing! i have very recently discovered Charlotte Bronte, i am reading Jane Eyre, and it is brilliant.
I have never read anything like it. I used to read modern romance stories, you know 200 pages or so, but i am loving Jane Eyre and hope to be introduced to so many more great novels. So suggestions please!

Hi Mona, hi everyone.
It's great to receive some dialogue from you guys.
Hi MarileeRixon,
Hello Mona and Cactus!!
I'm relatively new as well, but I thought I'd say welcome anyway!
Do either of you like Matthew Reilly or James Patterson? Or are you more into the (for want of a better word) classics like Shakespeare or Emily Dickinson?
In relation to your question, I enjoy a variety of texts, both modern and classics..... it really depends on what I happen come across. My social network is full of people who read very little (with the exception of my younger sister but her taste leans towards non-fiction more) so I don't get to share much with anyone.
I have not come across Mathew Reilly or James Patterson. If you have mentioned them, is it safe to assume that you value their works? Can you fill me in on what they have written, their styles and genre ...etc..
There are two ways which would bound to captivate me and lock me down on a book. 1) the writing had to be unique and exceptionally well written or 2) the storyline had to be very very very good. I would be in raptures if I find a book that covers both points (and those who could physically see me would probable find me glue to the book until I am done reading it! Seriously, I have read a book in 28 hours straight non-stop!)
Anyway, I will stop for now.:)

Hmmm my feedback.
Allright, in a year of heavy rain and uncertain futures, I was born to a young couple whose house sat nearly upon a place where a river broke into two streams. As a child, I always had trouble deciding whether I should play in the river or in one of the two streams. Nearly every time I chose the streams because the river was too big for a small being such as I myself was at that time. Being that I was born into uncertain times, I believe that I was raised an uncertain child who never could be certain as to which of the two streams to play in. Neither stream had any real benefit over the other, just as posting in one welcome thread over another shows no real and tangible benefit.
I chose yours for no other reason than uncertainty.
Hello, it is a pleasure to make your aquaintance. In 3 months, 3 hours and 3 minutes I will tell you an engaging fish story that you will not believe but will be true.
