mine was when i put the potatoes in the toilet

grams was making curry with potatoes, and i saw her put them into the pot, stirring it,
so i took the sack, (all 7 of um) went to the bathroom and "plopplopplop" they went, i smashed um in there, and a seond later pops comes in, stares at me, and bawls out all over the floor laughing at me, going "what the......did you do!"
i simply said, "im makin tatoes daddy!"

i was so lucky he didn't kill me for that,

Cut my brother's hair. Drove his maulvi sahab mad at me, made up creative tales and asked my mother/father to write them for me, spoke truth very very much, and in the later years of my childhood I added my brother's friend on msn and used abuses on him (at that time the only English abuses I could use were s**t, b***shi*, stupid, silly and donkey. Yeah, those were abusive words to me). I did that to take revenge on my brother who had played some trick on me. Though later I felt embarrassed on that. And from that day and now, I can't face that friend of his.

I was a naughty child, but people tell me I was funny and very curious. Used to make up strange games all by my own. Used to play by my own. Asked difficult questions. Thought a lot. And I loved to do research. Like science experiments and creating new things.

I remember one time - no idea how old I was then, but probably around five - when I was in the kitchen and somehow nobody was there, but on the kitchen table there stood a bonsai tree in small pot.
I then had a sudden fit of being a very good and helpful girl, and put tree and pot in the sink to help "clean it" because it looked so dirty.
And I did clean it because after turning on the water tap, I added a fair amount of washing-up liquid and drowned the poor thing.

I know I didn't immediately realize it and later nobody scolded me for it; it must have been really obvious that I only wanted to help; knowning myself I probably told my mother about the "good" deed I'd done the moment she entered the room.
... and to this day everybody in my family eyes me with apprehension the moment I utter a word about "taking good care of [their] plants while they're away". (With good reason, looking at the flower I was supposed to water these past two weeks.... )

I have a beautiful memory of my childhood. Its about my dad who used to love me s much that he used to make sure he dropped me and picked me up from the school. I used to recite poems while travelling back and he used to show me off to passers by with a glow in his eyes. When we stopped due to traffic signal and I used to keep reciting poetic verses he used to tell to the person waiting next to him what poem and who wrote it and he used to tell them how I know most of the poems. He used to show me off as if am a intellectual kid on the road. I miss those times.... :( The innocence and my Dad's love......
