Happy Birthday to WE

The Crow speaks this morning to the East Wind,
And the East Wind blows down from my mountains.
My senses alert as a Cougar lifts up and sniffs and listens,
The information carried on the wind comes like a fountain!
In a far-away country, the crows have given tongue,
The East wind carried it over the cold waters so deep—
Now the celebration has probably already begun,
But word reached me just as I woke from my dreams.
Tal is sort of mystic, a mysterious combination called “We.”
Friend to the Earth and attuned to the spirits thereof.
And I am born of The People, Native American blood, you see,
And we have the love for nature in common that much.
The Crow whispers to The Cougar of many marvelous things:
But before I forget, “We”, may you have a Happy Birthday!

Oh Pen did I ever tell you I really like your birthday poems/sonnets? I think I have but good things need to be repeated! :p

Following your lead, I have also written a birthday poem. Felt like writing something up (it's good outside today)! :)

Here is a birthday poem dedicated to Tal (I hope Tal, you don't like it too much :p)


The autumn has come
Month of September
Is flying high
The pride it has
Can't bend, oh it can't bend
In September, the marvellous colours
In September, a new school year (new good hopes)
In September, arrival of a moderate weather
Also is the birthday of the crow-boy known as Taliesin
Who believes the key word to happiness is peace :)

Why wouldn't September feel proud of all this?

Now, now, is it not a bit silly? Especially the last part, why would be September proud of that? :p ;)
