I often wonder how this world will go into a time hundred years from now?

How technology will shape us,the way we think and value things.

What about our sensitivity?

Humans are very much like they were thousands of years ago, and I don't think there will be major changes in people for a very long time to come. There may be technological changes, but most technological changes are short lived, so they don't have enough time to change humans in a fundamental way. I expect that the greatest change to humanity over the next 100 years will be the drop in population caused by the truly great plague.

Hmmm, usually all of the good novels are already written and I don't know if a hundred years later people will discover a great story. Maybe, because there are new technologies or they could still write new ones, only it is according to their time and the future. They will probably read the legendary novels before their time and learn from them, but... *shrugs* I'm not sure.

Man thinking of these future stuffs make my head hurt. *laughs*

digital books and good chocolate are going to take over the world. :)

our sensitivity will require shock treatment to make it work.

I think there will be a genre in the not so distant future - about travel away from nature and away from the Earth, if that sort of thing persists. I also think these same people will look back on all the classical literature we read and like it the same. I don't think there will be any fundamental changes in literature, though this is all optimistic. I also have a pessimistic side.

There is no end to writing good novels and we will see good novels endlessly, and at each epoch people will come with good novels, for people will have feelings and no matter how much we will be overridden by technological development we will have still have feelings and as long as we have is poems or novels are bound to appear.

People will have more access to education. Now for instance I am in Nepal, and I can easily communicate or share ideas with people across all these geographical frontiers.

The internet has really helped us to go across bounderies, all boundaries and be in touch with people of different cultures and upbringings.

For instance I am a Nepali, and as far my country is concerned, it is still a primative agriculture socieites. Most marriages are arranged, that means to say brides and bride grooms were chosen or arranged by parents or some close relatives. There is gender biasedness. Yet I can go across transcending these limits, in fact this is what broadens our perspectives.

Therefore all I want say is in future I see brighter sides, shiner sides and we will see amazing developments. For when art, literature of different countries come closer and get amalgamated and a new and different type of piece will be bound to come.

the internet has only been around for a decade or so and already has become the primary form of communication. the next 100 years will be interesting. stay tuned.

In the future everyone will have their own reality television show and nobody will be watching yours except you.

But there will be people who likes to read books too, and even now I like to sit before TV with a book in my hand indeed.

Many of us are very convinced of the fact that the depth we can plumb reading the book can never be come by by watching TV or seeing the movie.
