They say age is not relevant or you are
only as old as you feel. Some say
this golden time is for living the dream
and I’ve heard them say “you don’t
look your years.”

Getting old bothers some folks, they even
try to hide the fact. A quick trip to a
doctor and you can look 10 years younger.
But you can’t buy time, postponing
the inevitable.

I guess there are not a lot of good things to
say about getting up in age. It’s only what
you make of it I presume. At least you can
look forward to it each year not to mention
the senior discount card.

Oh now Poppy, you're not THAT OLD. Anyway, the older you get, the better you are. I hear they are hiring at Wal-Mart now.

Happy Birthday, my Love!!

Nice little poem Poppy. I have a feeling you'll always look and feel younger than your years because of your beautiful young wife, your adoring children, your happy grandchildren and all your buddies, those you fish with and those your write with. That would be US! :D Happy Days to you.

It ain't the growin' old that's the problem, Poppy. It's the growing up. I don't so much mind the former, but I ain't EVER gonna do the latter. :D
