I have been doing Advent readings for 12 years and now I seem to run out of texts that are suitable for the season.
The listeners expect a text on a comparatively high level of literature (prose fiction) but it must be immediately understandable because the texts are just read aloud.
The texts may be funny or serious, may deal with Christmas/Advent or just with the season, may have profane or religious themes (but no preaching as not all listeners will be religious people).
So far I have mostly read German authors, so writers from any country are welcome.
Can you help me, please?
