Curiously, I just started a blog yesterday about living in two countries and cultural differences and all...mostly because I wish to show my friends this part of my life... but it really does feel like talking to myself and I don't think anyone will read it, at most they'll browse it and find it boring and think I'm nuts. And I'm very embarassed about it, I hate people to read things I write even if it's just a silly blog. And in two days I'll be bored of it and abandon it anyway.

If the site 'goes down', stuff doesn't really get 'lost' per se, there is a cache/back-up of the content, so, usually most of it is/can be restored. So please don't let that deter you from starting your blog! :D

I usually write for myself and for my kids. But it's out there in space for anyone to read. If I think about that, then I really get antsy.
