The person above wears an old cardigan. He feels so sad, so cold and so alone. He stares at his walls, he stares at the window, he stares around the room and he stares at the floor. He takes solace in a pipe. He sits in his favourite chair. His chair is next to his favourite table. He takes out the tobacco from a wallet that was a gift over 40 years ago from his deceased brother. He lights the leaf with a lighter that was a gift 25 years ago from his deceased friend and he uses the ashtray that his deceased wife bought for the study when they first moved in 55 years before. He drinks tea from a china set that once was pride of place in his mother and fathers dressing table. The fire starts to diminish so he wraps himself warm with the cardigan his son bought him. He snuggles into the slippers his grandchildren bought. He puffs on his pipe and he sips he tea and surrounded by with the company of his one true love and family and friends he smiles and is warm again.
