It's my friend's birthday coming up and I want to buy her a vampire book. She's already read Dracula and Interview with a Vampire, does anyone have any recommendations?

cheers

Buy her the sequel and stand-alone part of Interview,: The Vampire Lestat. There's also Peeps and its sequel.

Or Stephen King's Salem's Lot. :)

I suggest one of the Anne Rice's books, i think they are one of the best vampire novels.

Anne Rices "Memnoch the Devil" is a wondrously satisfying vampire tale with a twist- the "Devil" wants to recruit the vampire Lestat to be his "right hand man" in his ongoing war with the Creator. :yawnb:

It's a bit obscure, but you might want to try Nancy Baker's The Night Inside or the sequel Blood and Chrysanthemums.

I think Anne Rice tends to ramble on a couple of times, I couldn't get through one of them without having to pause and consider things,
her oldest Vampire Novel i think are the best,
others would be La Banks, more modern,
Salem's Lot was pretty good,
