For me? Well, my life would be SO musch better if I just would've been born a gay man! But, alas, I was destined to be a straight woman instead!
I am the quintessential stereotype of a stereotypical gay man (interests, hobbies, men, et.c.). I came to this realize this a few months ago. Ah, well!
Your life might be just spectacular, but what is that ONE thing that would make it a TAD bit better?

I am almost afraid to change anything because it might make some other part of my life worse. I have it pretty good as a whole now. I would like to finish the remodel we started three months ago and get some new furniture and stuff like that. But my relationships with my kids and my husband is very excellent right now and that's what's important to me.
LadyWentworth, remember it can always be worse. What if you were born a straight man with not talent or ambition? Or a straight woman who was married to an abusive man? Or a child without enough to eat or anyone to love them? Gay isn't the easiest life, but straight isn't either. Life just ain't easy. If you can love and if someone can love you, you've got alot going for you.

Hmmm...my life would be much better if I were always happy. :D My mind contented, my body healthy and a smile surrounding my lips!
If you can love and if someone can love you, you've got alot going for you.
But it's a pity love doesn't stay forever...

Well I suppose this is a semi-serious topic so I don't think there's any need to go paternalistic...

Better to have loved and lost......and all that. Maybe some love does stay forever. Maybe that's why it hurts us so much when it's gone. The hurt eases up and goes away, but somewhere inside us there is still a little of the love we felt. I hope so anyway.

Some might disagree... Letting go of loved one (s) can be really hard that you can wish not to have loved at all. Oh well it perhaps differs from person to person I guess. (Don't I love being off-topic! :( )

My life would be so much better if I couldn't think, thoughts racing so fast in my head at terrible speeds crashing and burning like fighting suns. Gripping thoughts that seize my mind and i must write then, thoughts so rapid my writtting leaps up and down.
Really, being a writer is too much like having a mental illness.....

If you couldn't think, maybe you couldn't laugh on jokes...and you couldn't appreciate good things. Most of all how would you understand books?? :p

Well, honestly, I didn't expect this topic to become so "heavy"! Though you are entitled to say what you'd like, not everything needs to be psychoanalyzed. Life cannot be taken that seriously all the time.
By the way, when I made that comment to my co-worker, who happens to be gay, he completely agreed with me. He knew what I meant by it.
Also, Bakiryu, I know what you mean about thinking all the time! If only a person could turn their mind off for a little while. Just for a break, right? Then go back to thinking again! :)

and it probably would be. if my life were different- that is, if i had more ease and comfort, i would be much more productive; that's just how i am. a vacation doesn't do it because the entire time you are thinking about when you'll go back.

Me too! Well, at least some parts.
Life would be so much better if my freakin' ACT score would increase by 2pts. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I work my tail off and it doesn't budge! So aggravating because its not where I should be...:(
Oh, if I had the money to pay for college would help to!
I agree with you to Bakiryu. Trying to go to sleep is CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!! Too many things going on up there.

 If I was a man I'd be so gay. Well not really, more like a bit androgynous. I still use the he/him pronoun when talking about myself sometimes I remember upon my arrival here people thought me a guy, albeit a very gay one *LMAO!*

My life would also get a little better if I could do a pirouette above a single! I discovered in class last week that I can't. I really didn't do much over summer (summer being only the month of August), and it is like I have completely lost the capability to balance! I thought it would be spotting (because that seems to be my trouble - at least I think so! - with a jazz piroutte), but in ballet, it is balance. I have been dancing for years. How did this suddenly happen?!??
I am completely baffled by this!

Ease and comfort? really? I was under this notion that it makes a person more lazy.

if I have a good payed job, a nice strong man by my side , and if I lose some pounds and if all 50% of the people who s **** dissappear from the world face.
If someone would do my homework for me...
Or if I had slept more last night...
Or if I had less homework and could sleep now...
Or if I had the self-control to work on homework now and hit the forums later...
if I would know what I really want and have the possibility to do it (and of course, earn a lot of money with it ;) ).

If I had all my laundry washed and put away.
If I could spend 2 hours doing nothing but reading.
If I could watch Countdown with Keith Oberman every day.
If I didn't have to slave over a hot can opener.

Our life would so much better if...erm...um...if....um...er...
Can We try again?
Our life would be so much better if....erm....um......if...
We know!
Our life would be so much better if we had echolocation! And bat-wings! And the ability to shoot projectile missiles at will from our eyes! And Godzilla-powers. And other stuff like that!
There. Then our life would be perfect.

I bet that Bobbit guy says the same thing and I bet your wife would have been smart enough to flush it.Take a good look at our family picture in the photo album, MotherH. Does she look like the type of lady a man would be foolish enough to risk loosing? Do you see "Absolute Fool" written anywhere on my forehead? Nada. Not this boy. I'm thinking Bobbit's wife didn't flush it because when she got to the bathroom, too much evidence of her own secrets was visible...

My life would be so much better if ... ummm... ahhh... I don't think my life COULD get any better. Right now I'm happier than I've ever been before. I no longer have a job that I hate (I don't ever have to work again). I just bought a boat that I love... I'm about to set off on a great adventure...what could be better? I know..... My life would be so much better if I had someone to share it with.

Health Insurence Companies were actually concerned with preventing things from getting worse so they wouldn't have to pay out more, instead of rushing you through things before you've had time to get better or before they figure out what's wrong. Also if they didn't make it so difficult to see local doctors or to take prescribed medications. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l108/AbsalomKane/Smilies/Lawyer.gif
