Lonely Days, Lonely Nights ~Bee Gees
How painful they sometimes can be.
The only solace is knowing I can see
you in a few hours. A kiss then brings
me back to reality.
How pitiful I can be, worrying about
you traveling, working, traveling again.
If I don’t hear from you I pace. Then I
breakdown and call. At the same time
I tell myself to man up.
Am I too overprotective, do I pry, do
other men act this way? Am I capable of
just letting you leave without telling you
I love you, or walk out the door without kissing
you goodbye? Not in the least!
In a few hours I will try to sleep, you know that
restless kind of sleep that causes daytime
fatigue. It will be ok though, there will be
normalcy in a few days, then the cycle again.
