Sage advice. I think the little boy inside the man never really lets go of mama, even when she is gone. I cannot go see my mom often even though she lives here in town, for I am to limit my driving, and it's about 8 miles, through red lights that mess with my head. But the week doesn't pass that I don't call her. My brother and sisters are much further away, so I stay in touch via e-mail or phone. No one comes here. I would call it "denial". They don't want to face facts about what has happened to me. But I love them anyway...
