We are all survivors in our own way
Traumatic injuries come in many forms
None of us are what we once were
Yet we all deserve love
In its many manifestations

And to those who suffer ordeals
That make you question yourself
Your value
Your capacity to give to the world
And to receive
Know that you are loved
In ways and from places that you
Would perhaps never expect nor imagine.

Life goes on
We deal with our demons
We manage our issues
We survive

We turn the page
And we live again.

Nice poem, Cdn, but not my favorite of yours.
I like the idea of turning the page, yes! The idea of the survival is so true. Sometimes I wonder how I survived some of the bad moments in my life, but I did! This is why I nourish the idea of hope! Always!
