I was just wondering, if anyone knows of any good stories (either fictional or non-fictional) that explore the relationships of family members, ie between a father and daughter, or brother and sister etc.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend A Raw Youth and Netochka Nezvanova for Dosteovsky. But I think that in both, the relationship discussed is somehow odd. You know what I mean it is "dosteovsky":confused:

Try "Powder" by Tobias Wolfe or "The Red Convertible" by Louise Erdrich.

Wolfe also wrote a memoir called 'This Boy's Life' that is excellent.

Two of Us by Brendan Halpin its also sometimes called donerboy. Its really quite good if a rather unconventional family ...its the Sperm doner father and his daughter after the girls 2 mothers have been killed and she is sent to live with him and its about how they learn to be afamily and relate to each other and deal with grief.
