Want some from Ireland you two?

I collect a lot of stuff! Books and statues of faeries (also have few pictures) Books, Antiquarian books, costume jewelry(new fettish) DVDs, perfume bottles, little bowls and plates(very new fettish. Have decided that everytime i go somewhere i must buy a little plate or bowl from that place. Have three now. A beautiful handmade plate from when i was last in aberdeen, a stone bowl carved from a rock containing real fossils from Edinburgh, and a little plate similar to bowl from Lincoln. My mam also gave me a two plates, one is a plate with flowers on it and the other is a Queen Elizabeth II jubelie plate.)

got any rock from a pyramid? It would go nicely from the rock I took from a pyramid in Mexico. I went on a tour of a pyramid that was only partial excavated, once you climb up you could walk around the thing at your own risk which you know I did and as I was walking a piece came off in my hand I figured it wanted to go home with me.

if you're very lucky (i.e. if the weather is good), my bf and me will go to Solnhofen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solnhofen) this weekend.
it's where they found like 7+ archeopteryx. there's an old quarry where everyone's allowed to dig for fossils. last time I went (as a kid) we found tons of ammonites of all sizes, so I'll try and find a small one for you.
if we can't go, I'll have to scrape off a piece of the Nuremberg city wall ;)

My brothers and I used to collect matchbox covers, when we were small. We don't have such an obsession now, rather we laugh at what silly things we used to do.

My current obsession is bangles. I have quite a few varities, not all have been bought by me. Whenever my mother goes visiting our relatives in Benaras, I ask her to bring as many designs as she can find :D. That place has some very good collection, or so it is said.

Postcards, shells, rocks (gems and minerals not just rocks from my driveway or anything:)), tea... this one drives my husband crazy. He can't understand why I would want to have some 50+ different kinds of tea at any given time:lol: I drink them all, and I'm even clearing my collection out at the moment. I'll start again after I move. The hubby said he would just put them in the garbage rather than send them with the movers:( I'm sure there are some other things, but those are the ones off the top of my head.

I used to collect fossils and rocks, but my parents didn't like it so I had to throw them out. Now I collect CD's, and Model Horses. I have an extensive collection of Breyer Models. Some are over forty years old. One that is 42, I traded for a year's worth of school french fries in forth grade, I just recently got him appraised and he's worth $170. I was shocked!
I also collect sheet music for cello, and names, because I write a lot and a good name is always helpful.

I collect holiday decorations and have boxes of each. I collect beautiful and unusual pictures from the interenet so I always have new ones for my emails. I never thought of myself as a collector really, but upon reflection I see this is not so.
I like to collect thoughts, little bits of someone's heart and mind, from antiquity forward. I go back over them, contemplate them and apply them to my life as needed.
I also like to collect material, the most natural and expertly woven the better. From all over the world. I like natural earth tones or if more colorful, very faded and rich looking. I make them into items, preferring to sew by hand, stitch by stich and give many away as heirlooms, gifts that can be treasured and passed down from generation to generation.
Last, I love to collect children's stories from long ago. Again from all cultures and parts of the earth. I lose myself in them and go on strange and wonderful journeys.
