Imagine a world where beauty may be
Beyond the scant width of symmetry:
Where sincere beauty expels flawless lines
In knowledge of how much the eye confines.
Imagine a world where people see naught
But the beauty within, which can't be bought.
How the public demarks where beauty lies
With their classy hats and lecherous eyes;
How beauty is priced like clothing and shoes
By those who idealize something you lose.
Finally, time will cleanse you of this lie:
As the color fades and grim death draws nigh,
Your youthful beauty will ebb then perish,
And you'll know a face is wrong to cherish.
