My name is Samuel Matthias; I am 18; and I am a dreamer. I tend to waste away my hours day-dreaming. I wish it were a less potent affliction of the soul, but alas, I am destined to see only what I can not achieve.

I am a high-school dropout, and being such comes with a considerable amount of shame. Shortly after I had dropped out I became somewhat of a recluse. As a result, my social life, which possessed some amount of vigor, disintegrated. My friends became the vapor which rises from boiling water; my family became the echo down the hall, and I became more reclusive. I dropped out during my final year, and that makes the soup all-the-more sour. "Why?" is a perfect question for someone who wants to talk for a while.

As for hobbies: I play soccer, I read and write poetry, and I enjoy watching films. I am currently reading Utopia, but I find much more pleasure in reading the essays and poetry of Percy Shelley. I am not a voracious reader; but I would love to acquire a more passionate desire for reading literature. I thoroughly enjoy Franz Liszt's music: Danse Macabre is my favorite piece by Liszt.

I am generally a quiet person. I find loquaciousness offensive, especially when the person is also being officious; officiousness may be the most annoying thing to me. I dislike psychology and psychiatry. I like being sure, but whenever I am sure enough to be content, this quotation ruminates throughout my mind: Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is an absurd one. - Voltaire.

Um, hello. I'm Jin and it's very nice to meet you. Can't you just go back to school or get a GED?
