Hi,
I don't know if anyone knows of the story 'The Little Prince' by Antoine De Saint-Exupery, it is a really enchanting story and I would really recommend it and many of his other books. :)
The reason I posted this is, there was an Audiobook made of 'The Little Prince' in 1983 which I am desperate to get hold of. I have tried Amazon and a few other places but I can't find it anywhere. :(
I just thought that maybe someone here may have a copy or know where I can find one. If you have the tape then I would pay for a copy, or if you could just tell me where I could find it I would be very grateful.
thanks all (in anticipation) and I really would reccomend his books
P.S. I just realised he died in 1944 so maybe we could have some of his books on here, they are only short and I think worthy.

Hello!!!!!
That is my favourite book
I love it!
My mom bought me this book when I was in third grade. It was thin, so she thought it was a children's book. I remember I was stuck after the first few pages because I thought it was boring. I guess I should try reading it now, now that I'm no longer an unappreciative "child"...

It should be read to a child. Then, years later, the child will have matured enough to read it and relish the wonder in it.

It's my favorite book too...it's a pity i didn't read it until i entered university....i get to know it from my classmate's term paper!!
And lucky i am another Leon to whom the book is dedicated.:o)
I tripped and stumbled through `Le Petit Prince' for gr. 12 French, was it difficult, but have since read in english. It's a lovely novel and great movie too.
I'ts a very famous book, translated in so many languages...I read it once, not as a child but not even too adult as I think ti was quite a long time ago...And shame on me, I don't remember much of it... I think there was a cartoon inspired by that when i was a child...
Last year in a shop with Little Prince's merchandise I found a great quote:
C'est le temps que tu as perdu pour ta rose qui fait ta rose si important (it's the time you 'wasted' for you rose that makes your rose so important).
Isn't it so true? When you dedicate a very long time to something/someone, it depends so important in your life...
Can't help about audio thingy tho, sorry

It has, in fact, been translated into more foreign languages than any other book, except for the Bibl.

They do a nice little performance of it every year at the University of Michigan Children's Theater Guild. If anything else, it's a very imaginative story that almost anyone can enjoy on some level.

I read it when I was 12 or something around this age. There was a good play "Malenkij Prinz" (the Russian for "Le petit prince") at the theatre. And a song written about him where he was called trustful.
I think most Russian children or teenagers know this book, it's very popular here.
