Don't know about this. But what the heck.

Secrets

I have secrets to share,
But only with you
Don’t tell anyone else
Or my life will be through.
Don’t tell my Mother
The things that I’ve done.
She thinks I’m a good girl,
But I’ve had some fun!
Don’t tell my husband,
He thinks I am strong.
But I’m cut to the quick
More often than some.
Don’t tell my children,
They think my hearts’ kind.
But I’m hateful and mean
At various times.
My co workers think
That I’m fair and discrete.
But I sometimes play favorites
And don’t think when I speak.
Don’t tell a soul
That I hate or I lie.
Tell them I’m everything
They see from outside.

I think this is wonderful, Granny. Rhyme and rhythm are great! Made me smile, thinking of you being mean. Say it ain't so!! :)

Thank you Cdn. I've worked all night and driving home I was trying to think of something that would Rhyme. I can be mean, but just on the inside sometimes. Ok, maybe outside a little......but I'm a pretty good actress!

That’s why we can never REALLY know anyone. I didn’t used to understand that, but then I got secrets of my own. I still think the world would be a better place if we would all be a little more transparent. Great poem mom.

Yeah, it might be better, but you and I both would probably be in big trouble!
Thanks baby for the kind words.

Granny, this is precious and I love the way it reads.

I used to think, let's all just 'fess up. But then a couple times I've had someone say, you can tell me anything...and I'd say OK...and they'd say, YOU WHAT!!!! why did you tell me that!!! It's like old Maxwell Smart and 99.

Yeah, it might be better, but you and I both would probably be in big trouble!

I hear that.

thank you fire.

I think we're all better off with a little shield between us and the world.

Thank you, Lote. Don't lose faith! Sometimes that's all we got to keep us going.

Nice granny.
I don't know about others, but sometimes I'm glad I don't know. I wish sometimes I could ask though.
