That pretty much says it all... I've read newer stuff but I just love the old stuff, especially romanticism. My favourite author is far and away Dumas, and my favourite book would probably be the Three Musketeers. At the moment I'm about half way through Don Quixote, and I am enjoying it immensely. Non book related stuff about me includes: I am 22, I just graduated and I work in the financial industry, and I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I look forward to posting here often, and hopefully learned much more.

Sbmarti, you sound like a smart guy, cool. so it is fair for me to say that you'd never pick up that harry potter book with the intention to read it? :D people who read the classics like we do loath trash books like that, right? :)

welcome. my half-buddha bow to you, my new classics friend. :thumbs_up

:) Hi. It's nice to meet you. I love Dumas also, though I think I like The Counte of Monte Cristo a little better than The Three Musketeers. I look forward to seeing you around on the site.

haha well I'm not so discriminatory as that. I've read the Harry Potter series and I did enjoy it a lot, and I do read other books, such as Ludlum's Bourne series. I just enjoy the classics the most.

The Count of Monte Cristo is another favourite, and I agree, it has one of the most intricate plots I've ever seen. The Three Musketeers is just my favourite because it is easy to read, enjoyable, and considering the whole series, it has the best character development I've ever seen.
