The PowerBook by Jeanette Winterson (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0375725059/qid=1116264350/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/102-1549285-8028940)

An interesting read. It is the first book I have read by Winterson after many recommendations. An impossible love affair between two women is told through a strong and creative use of language. However, at times, I felt, it is too poetic for the sake of being so and the main story is intertwined with many small ones to the point of distraction.

It is possible that it is something one gets used to.

Overall, it was a good read: 7/10 KitKats!

Written on the Body is one of my favorite books of all time, but I have not read this one yet.

The is definitely her forte, and what I love about her.

That actually sounds pretty good to me.
I love the way she sometimes writes in a serpentine fashion - wriggling and weaving in and out of tangents and digressions.
It almost makes me dizzy at times, and I think it is wonderful.

I will certainly have to read this one.
Thank you.
