THE TOWN OF "TODAY"
I walk along a newfangled road,
But I cannot be hapnotized,
I find this road so filled with noise,
From "Today's" wonderous life,
The Held-up houses are mocking me,
Laughing at my primitive cottage,
The lavish work-places are sniggering too,
At my ancient,rotten office,
I can feel the air of "haugtiness",
Conquering this town of "Today"
And all the blank faces,
Are busy in,an oddly amazing way,
The beeps of these "gadgets" are deafining,
But they sure are filling the air,
And the honks of these "motors" are sickening
As if they want to slash my ears,
I can see my past has left,
For the town of "Today" is here,
But the primeval soul like me,
Finds it hard to settle and bear.
