Need Help with an Idea

Hey guys, I need some help in the form of ideas.


I need a way for a boy to almost die through some accident of his own doing. The kid can be anywhere from 1-10 years old. However, he needs to survive this incident through some SHEER MIND-BOGGLING stroke of luck.

For example, a 3 year old kid is playing with matches when he's home alone. He sets fire to the house and he's about to die inside when SUDDENLY a flashstorm appears from nowhere and puts out the fire, So he lives.

Some utterly ridiculous stroke of good luck to save his life. Something like that. I don't really like the example above, so I'm going to see what comes up. It can involve anything. Even ducks.

Some kid is running down a field while he suddenly falls down an unused well and then is miraculously saved by the one person who wanted to say if the well was empty?

The boy arrives at a level crossing on his bike. He is in a hurry, so he doesn't mind the barriers being down. When he is on the tracks, he falls from his bike and hurts his head and is unconscious. The train is coming, fast. A few centimetres in front of the boy the train stops. Someone has pulled the emergency brake because of an accident on the train (whatever that may have been).

But I like Baki's, too.:D

A young kid was playing with a fork near an electrical socket just as he was about to stick the fork in the socket there was an accident down the block in which one car ran a red light, hit another car, pushing it into a transformer knocking out all the power in the neighborhood.

Did I mention the socket wasn't GCFI?

A child who can't swim is walking along the river. He passes some kids skipping stone into it. He walked further to the bridge. Walking across the wet bridge he slips and falls into the river. He tries the best he can to stay above water, but can't. The current takes him passed the stone skippers, who don't notice him and he it hit in the head by one of the stones. Knocked unconcious the boy begins to floats and soon makes it to land.
