Of all other prophets, saviors, redeemers, Jesus and the Buddha appeal to me more. But it is not without due respect to the rest of others, it is with profound reverence no doubt. Yet why they appeal to me more than others is a matter totally personal and private to me and since we have the access to expression I do so not thinking that others have the same feelings I do have.

First why has the Buddha been the very fountain of inspiration is he did not talk about Gods, and any rituals and he was totally against caste-ism one of the great epidemics in the east, and he was so logically even twenty five hundred years ago and to day also he is highly appealing even in this age of science and reason.

Jesus is the same for he lived for the poor and destitute and he was a symbol of peace and his teachings are all full of non violence and he embodied kindness, compassion, forgiveness and these are in essence the greatest human values.

Both are admirable as teachers; there is of course the huge difference in that Jesus (unlike Buddha) claimed Divine Status. That gives His teachings a different sort of authority.

I think it is worth noting that the Buddha's teachings are strikingly similar to the Dhamma, and there was Buddhist and other Eastern influence in the Middle East in the time Jesus was there.

I disagree that Jesus claimed such.

How many references from the NT would you like me to quote to demonstrate the truth of my statement? While I await your answer, here's 4:

John 8:52-9 (cf. Leviticus 24;16)
John 10:30-33
John 5;16-18
Matthew 26:63-66

As well, Jesus' claim to forgive sins and his acceptance of worship are also clear indicators of his divine status. No other moral teacher claimed such privileges.

How about one?
Just one quote in which Jesus claims to be Divine.
Let's see if you can do that, because I have been looking for years and have not found a single quote, read in context, in which Jesus clearly claims his divinity.

I am fully aware of all the quotes you stated above, and in not one of them does he claim to be divine or claim to be God (affirming any sort of Trinitarian Doctrine).

Even accepting John as a reliable source (for the sake of argument) there is nothing in the NT that directly and unequivocably supports your claim.

He says he is the son of God - he also claims that ALL of us are the children of God.

Wrong.
Regardless of what anyone before him may have done, these things are not "clear indicators" as you claim - this is simple assumption.

Yes, there are similarities between Krishna and Jesus, as well as Buddha and Jesus, Horus and Jesus...
Jesus has things in common with many of the religious teachers, God-men and other archetypes throughout history.
