Hmmm...I never thought of that! But, no. It's more like a bunch of diary bunch up together. Word.

The Bible is considered God's communication with humanity through many writers. God did not take a pen in His hand and write, but we believe that the words of the Bible are true because God guided the writing.

The Bible is the revelation of God's character as revealed through
1) the history of His relationship with the Jews (OT)
2) the revelation of Jesus Christ (NT)
and it contains advice and principles to guide us through all of life's situations.

Consider the Bible like a guidebook for life. You can take it and improve your life and draw closer to God by accepting the Grace He freely offers, and following the roadmap left behind in the book written under His inspiration. Or you can read it and become someone hopelessly cynical about the whole idea of there even being a God at all. It depends on what you are looking for when you read it. If you are really looking for God, seek and ye shall find. If you are looking for ways to discredit religion, you will find them as well. Point of view and what you want to accomplish with your life are as importain with the Bible as they would be in a career choice. You get what you are looking for.
God bless
