We'll meet again

Everybody's leaving
now you guys are on the queue
flying to a far away land
with plans & dreams on your hand

Spaces are new,
traces of old memories lingers on and on...
i wonder if things are good as before
without friends like you...

new faces now fills your empty spaces
but still love the same old place
where memories reflect your presence
i shout and search for your glimpses

Do you remember ?
when we used to rush for a cup of tea
relish on small talk with faces glistened with smiles...
oh! now they have become just sweet nostalgic memories

nothing lasts forever but time will return
someday, for us to meet again for sure
with impregnable bonding of friendship in our motherland
cherishing good old days again and again !

This transported me into some film that would be of a time, circa 1941, in a cafe where you were writing to friends separated by the time and circumstance. Very moving and the rhymes weaving in and out of the lines supported the poem very nicely.

You know that it's really hard letting friends go to whom we have spent years and years with them. Anyway, hoping that we'll meet again.

I have worked again on this poem and made many changes to the previous one. So, please provide suggestions or any other comments to help me write even more better.
