Angel Creation

A lover brings your body to life.
A poet sets your spirit free.
Those who put love to music must be saints,
And those who sing are angels.

Thank you for the fire that burns within.
Thank you for making my spirit soar.
Thank you for sharing the music,
And making me an angel.

If I could lie beside you,
And pet those poet words,
The maestros, they would praise you,
And the heavenly choirs would sing...

Glory, glory, glory,
For your rhyme and your meter and your love.

Well, it is a lovely poem, Amp, and much poetry is indeed music or musically created. I know you didn't write this to me (besides, my dear, I'm taken!), but I enjoyed it nonetheless, as much of my poetry is composed with a guitar nearby. You always edge your poems with a slight hint of the forbidden, a glimpse of a peeping Tom through pebbled glass, and it makes your poems shine!

The "real Prince" - as in the "real illusion"? Actually I did catch a glimpse of him once. You know how when you look at yourself in a mirror, you always know beforehand that you are about to do so and so, perhaps, you prepare your expression?

Once however I was riding up in an escalator, preoccupied in my thoughts to the extent that I became oblivious of my surroundings. I looked to my left and in what I assumed was the down escalator I caught sight of a face ads before I could edit my reaction, I thought Mournful, Jewish, dissatisfied... and yes, I then realized that it was my face and I was horrified - not at the Jewish part but at the other two!

I named the protagonist of the next novel I wrote "MJ Davidson" and MJD is the name of the directory in which I keep my romantic communications, but I reconfigured the initials to stand for: Manic, joyful, defiant!
