Try answering these questions:
Do you suffer from migraine or any other kind of headache?
What do you do to battle those agonising hours?
Do you believe in pain-killers or you go for candies,soft-drinks and bananas;)?
What actually triggers your headache?

.............................................
I'll answer them later as my head is splitting right now!

Do you suffer from migraine or any other kind of headache? - I used to, but I haven't had headaches or migraines for a really long time. In fact, I think it was after we bought a waterbed that the headaches stopped (seemed to be linked to waking up with a stiff neck)
What do you do to battle those agonising hours? - sleep, sleep, sleep.
Do you believe in pain-killers or you go for candies,soft-drinks and bananas? - a combination of painkillers and coca-cola (or pepsi). Cola really really works.
What actually triggers your headache? - three things for me, stress, stiff neck, water retention (nice!).

Hope you're head feels better.

Are you sure the waterbed gave you relief,TheFifthElement?

I'm pretty sure it helped. Whenever we stay away from home, and sleep in a normal bed I find I'm more likely to wake up with a headache (and it's not alcohol related - honest!).

My boss suffered badly with migraines until he went for acupuncture, and to a chiropractor. The chiropractor reckoned that a lot of the problems he had were related to an issue with his back and neck.

Nah, not migraines but sometimes headache (very very little usually, nothing head-exploding) but sleeplessness? Quite a lot of time, especially when I am on new places or such which I think is quite normal! But still it hurts. It's also when I am tense or some school exam is coming up or am hurt or feel bad. Not a good feeling of course! Migraines must be even worse, looks by the sound of them. I can sympathise with you, if not help. :(

But I know three people who have it (or had it), including a class-fellow, she says the doctor told her it's associated with computer or telivision screen a lot too. The migraines she meant. I wonder if that's true? I have also felt that I often experience sleeplessness more when I am near computer (telivision is out of question because I don't like to watch it). Perhaps it has got something to do with the rays or perhaps addictiveness? But if it's addictiveness, I wonder why I can get to sleep (and more fastly than normally) if I choose to read a really good novel... It rather makes me sleepy even if it's very interesting!

I have silent migrains...no pain but I can't see very well. What triggers them? I don't really know, stress, not eating properly, lack of sleep...I think it's several things. I just take some otc pain medicine and in about 20-30 mins. I'm fine. I just feel like I've had a headache afterward. (you know that kinda nagging after-ache you get sometimes after a headache.) Sleep always helps that go away.

I used to get headaches quite a bit but not so much any more. I've been going to a chiropractor and that seems to help a great deal. If I have a headache and can't get to the chiropractor I usually take a large dose of aspirin/pain reliever

My friend used to have headaches.

Turns out she was addicted to the caffein in Exedrin. Go figure.

That's kind of interesting. I spend a LOT of time on the computer, and I rarely get headaches. (Backaches, though, from bending over my laptop, ow!)

Stress, uhhh...that thing that, never mind...uhm, no sleep, staring at the TV or computer screen for a long time. Getting hit in the head seems to hurt too! oh, I have sinus problems...more allergie stuff, so I get headaches from that.

I just deal with it. Or I drink some cola...if I seriously can't handle it...I hit the pills.

i have a headache every day. literally. i have had every kind of test to determine if it is something serious - like a tumor. it isn't. some days it turns into a migraine. other days, just a dull ache. i haven't found anything that takes it away. accupuncture helps for a while. i cut out sweets about 2 years ago, and that helped for a while. i take aleve, but it isn't great.

i've learned to tolerate the headaches. it seems there is nothing i can do.

This is what exactly happens with me and the Only thing I do is: stay quiet.I remembered not talking to anyone for two WHOLE days. The worst thing about migraines are that they are not curable, and you have to live with them forever. It is more stupid than agonising!
