FOLKSONG

Laura is an Irish rose
cheekbones ghosts of mellow thorns
Laura is a honey bee
Laura's eyes
two blue suns in two white skies
two black moons
traversing.
Laura's lips are oracles.

Lips with mine conversing
Laura lights a lifetime's dawns
Laura my cosmology.

Lovely - and somehow, what one might do with three words is often better done, as here, with two!
