I have three question about writing an essay. Sorry, if they seem to be dumb questions.
I finished my summer reading book called The Freedom Writers Diary by Erin Gruwell and the Freedom Writers.
I was inspired by one of the diary writers who compared children to lotus flowers. I want to use the words "Lotus Flower" and expand how a lotus flower grow to compare it to people who overcame negative stereotypes and labels, and became positive person. Of course, I will need to know how Lotus Flower grows from a web site.
I was wondering, do I put the page number that I got inspired from? Also, when describing how the Lotus Flower grows in my own words or paraphrasing it, do I still have to put the author's name after it? And what if there is no author?
