heyho, can you guys recommend any good books on nutrition?
i don't mean those about starve-yourself-to-death diets or any other slimming diets, but textbooks like those you'd read if you studied Nutrition at univ

cheers :)

There's 2 books I came across at uni and where overall good though I remember they had some very detailed sections (which I didn't really go into!)

Essentials of human nutrition by A.S. Truswell

Introduction to human nutrition by M. Gibney

It really depends what you're looking for, there are quite a few that relate nutrition to other areas such as diseases, economics, sport, society and all that. But the ones above cover nutrition on a wider basis.

Do you have access to journals? The are a some really good ones (European journal of nutrition, Nutrition and metabolism...) ; it means searching through detailed articles and looking for what interests you exactly but it's worth a shot.
