Can you describe your voice in words?
One of my techers asked me to do it once, and the only description I was able to give him was:ITS NOT SQUEAKY?:D
If you can describe your voice then go on...

Yes, that's right! I was quite shocked the first time I heard a recording of my voice. Meanwhile I've got used to it. :D

My voice is rather dark (alto) but mostly becomes a bit higher when I speak English instead of German.

My voice sounds like a young child’s. And it is hard for me to talk loud in a conversation. I sound like a child in a box that is hidden in the corner of the room. But when I sing my voice is deeper, an alto. And I’m a southerner/hill person so that has a sound all of it’s own.

When I have to speak publicly I sound different, like a grown up that knows something and I can project.

Aye, my voice SOUNDS alto but is really a (at least on a telephone message) unfortunately high...blush...

Umm as for my voice: the most perfect voice you can imagine! :p :D

Actually, it can be quite altered. I can make it loud and heavy as well as baby-ish and innocent and very small. But I think it's not very mature.

My speaking voice is somewhat deep considering I sing high soprano.

My voice is youthful. Most people on the phone think I am much younger. But I can sound authoritive when needed. In person, I think my voice is whinny..sort of like a young girl who has been grounded. Some people at work say mine is the worse singing voice they've ever heard, so I try to sing as much as I can.
