(I'm new to the whole, posting poetry thing, not totally sure if i didn't anything off base, anywhos here's my poem (please visit my poetry website, the more the readers the better))

Jailed Inside

The quiet, the stillness of an afternoon storm.
Ashen snow falls from the sky & the acidic air fills our lungs.

We are trapped within this large overpopulated dungeon where sunlight ceases to exist. We cannot breathe,
hearing cries from hell,
knowing that we will be doing the same.

Winds whip across from building to building,
the storm has begun.

We huddle together like little groups of scared sheep.

The stench of human waste drives our nerves on edge making us want to lurch out the little food we ate.

At times we feel god no more & cover faith has been decapitated by lost dreams.

The will to live has escaped us.
Survival for one peak of sunlight is our only key.

And right now I feel I can survive no more.

I like it, and I love the ending. I do think you need this line:

"We are trapped within this large overpopulated dungeon where sunlight ceases to exist. We cannot breathe, "

broken up somewhere. I'm not sure where.
