Every thought I think, every star
that lights my lonely eyes,
every time I fold or unfold my fist,
I celebrate your name: Sophie, Sophie.
Between us we have trouble enough
to smash up two or three perfectly good relationships,
and love enough to put them back together again,
stronger and more alive than ever.
I never really knew what heaviness was
until I fell hopelessly
in love with you,
nor how light heaviness could be!

You DO have a princess there. A lovely poem for her.
Those last lines...nice.

I knew it! I knew you had found someone. Good for you, Prince. Being in love can produce some beautiful poems like this one. I hope she knows how lucky she is and how inspired she makes you. Good luck friend.

Thank you. You did notice the references to "trouble" and "heaviness," didn't you?
And thank you too, Ampoule.

Listen, this thing of mine has roughly 4.3 seconds more to last and is, like, a super-highway to Endsville!

Don't borrow trouble...and you did say that the heaviness is light. Enjoy whatever you have as long as you have it, kiddo.

Lovely poem. Soft spots in that heart of yours, Jerry. I never doubted it for a second. I hope she liked it.

Hmmm quite romantic.
I never really knew what heaviness was
until I fell hopelessly
in love with you,
nor how light heaviness could be!
Very good!
