Keep a rose on my lips

But my gray matter whispered
It was you ...
It was you
Wondering why?

The Earth and her true lover, Sun,
To darken deeply living green,
To make a shadow long, well-seen,
To show he’s not the least-loved one.

FRIENDS AND FRIENDSHIP

Ah! How difficult it is to find a friend
No way a Man could be a Friend of Man
Not even a lower vertebrate or high
Friend, as they call it in Persian is
Doo-sat
Let me explain what it means
perchance you are interested to know
Doo in Persian and Urdu means TWO
SAT means essense ...
Like a cocktail when Two essenses mix
Lose their infividual identity
Become one
That's what Friendship is.
O girls! find a boy
O boys! find a girl
Dissolve yerselves in one another
And become One
Like Divine Nectar
Only then you could be Friends
A symbol of Unity of True Love !

Thank you, kiz paws! That merging theory is interesting, mazHur. Here's something nutty about the Moon.

Blaming the Moon

I have my doubts about the Moon.
The tides, they rise and fall.
Lovers gaze upon its face.
I wonder. Is that all?

Do nutty people know the Moon,
Go deeper when they see?
Am I the loony one who won’t
Let moonlight brighten me?

mazHur

Moon

Dear me, learn lesson from the moon
It has a moral for all
It wanes and waxes
From a sickle to a ball.

Full of light, bright
Smiling at the world
So be like the golden Moon
Keep not your lips curled.

YesNo

Are what I long to see.

As laughter torments me.

My poem offering later today at our poetry workshop: (Adult Nursery Rhyme)

If All The World Were Poets

If all the world were poets,
And ink sold by the gallon,
If all the stars were accessible,
Where would we hang our hats ?

If all the world were Legos,
All colors of the rainbow,
If we played as children play,
Would there be any homeless ?

If the world was more full:
of colors
of laughter
of games and parties.

If children learnt to gaze
Into each other´s eyes
And didn´t sit side by side
Each immersed in his own

If everyone owned all homes
And didn´t have his own
Would there be less homeless?

It´s one old, old dream.
But where did it go?

Esther offers "drive" for this week's writing prompt: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2026/02/11/writing-prompts-102/

Talking While Driving Me Nuts

I could drive, but I'd much rather walk.
I could fly, if I could, like a hawk.
Since I know that a lie
makes a mess, I will try
not to lie, but beware when I talk.

Esther offers "memories" for this week's writing prompts: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2026/02/18/writing-prompts-103/

Unrighteous Memories

Those odd memories refuse to stop
like a judge seeking justice on top
of your case every day.
All your lawyer need say,
"He's now righteous. So, let the case drop."

2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV - 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
