"Plight of the desert inhabitants"
Thirst-stricken land wanted to quench its thirst,
The desperate cries remained unheard,
As the clouds refused to lend tear-drops,
Fortune looked daunting from the torpid crops,
But when the throats were brutally parched,
Who craved for clothes and cosy abodes,
Tiny little eyes and wrinkled up faces,
Prayed to be showered by the grace of Lord,
If the nature could only give them a chance,
As their languid feet could not Rain Dance.
