My first thread here :)

Anyone read anything by Anais Nin?

I picked up Spies in the House of Love the other day at work because I thought it looked quite interesting. I haven't read it yet, but I researched Anais Nin earlier, and she's quite a character  Erotica and all sorts! Anyway, I'm hoping if it's good I'll be able to read more by her.

I only read a short story of her in a book with travelling stories. I believe it was part of one of her dairies. I might want to read more from her in the future as it was quite interesting.

I remember, vaguely, having read one of her works. Surprisingly enough, I cannot think of its title, though I can picture in my head how the book looked (atypical for me, as I am not that "visual" person). That is all I remember - that, and the name of the author. I remember that it left some weird flavour in my mouth, that the work - whichever it was - was "weird" to me, that it eluded my comprehension and thus, in a way, my liking.

That superficial early-teen-ish (that was a couple of years ago) contact was the only one I ever had with Anais Nin, but now that you have brought it up... :D I think I wish to re-read it and see if now it will suit me better than it did when I was younger.
