On my birthday a few decades ago some country got liberated. No writers I know of.

The only significant thing that happened on my birthday was the birth of myself, and I doubt anything famous will arise out of that, except perhaps the end of the earth as we currently know it should I exchange it for some ribald new creation where bugs are pitted agianst eachother for sole control over the planet causing the total disruption of the ecosytems and thus the release of the gnomes from their imprisonment. It would really be a most happy ending for all, but that has yet to happen, a future event that will be a famous day of beginnings for the gnomes, perhaps I will be proclaimed their god or a moses of sorts leading the gnomes away form their government captors. Oh I am sorry have I wandered off topic?

Here, if this writer existed he would have been born the same day as I: Albert J.K. Trousse, childrens author and morbid poet extrordinaire.

That is a deal emily! How dreadful, I used punctuation to show excitement, what is the world coming to?

What is s10cr?

emily655321

Az coined it, I stole it (thank you, Az :D)
s10cr = stupid 10 character rule
For when you need to add extra characters to your post.

We'll see. On the bright side, you're looking more human now.

That is absolutely ghastly ajoe, please refrain from mentioning that in future posts, I should enjoy remianing bitter and old, only a picture could truly convice anyone otherwise.

Bitter old people aren't human? I'm sure Az would resent that, Simon. :p :p
Gah! I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Don't hurt me. :D

Az, you're still here right? I don't want to make jokes in someone's absence. :(

Hurt you? And how would this be profitable? I am utterly confused as to why I have been set up as a mean old fart, I can be nice, let me think:

Oh I really really like that avatar emily, it's so cute (is cute the word? these things are beyond my comprehension)

Thank you. Indeed, "cute" is the word. :brow:

And I meant for Az to please not hurt me for calling her bitter and old. :D

dammit. when you are my age, and your bones are creaking, your once lush hair is falling out, how do you expect me to be kind and forgiving? when my voice rivals a crow's, and the map of king tut's tomb has been ravaged onto my forehead?
how do you expect me not to take offense???

:D :D :D

I'm back after a busy week. I'm old and bitter. I LOVE emily's new avatar.

I know at least 10 (probably more, I lost count) non-famous people born on the same day as me... As for writers, I read that Gogol was born on 19th or 20th March... I guess it's not known for sure, cos the source was surely a quite accurate one...

I LOVE emily's new avatar.

Thankye. :D I surfed for about three hours looking for one. I have over twenty others saved on my harddrive. lol. So it will undoubtedly change repeatedly in the future.

no one cool was born on my birthday, but the upside is that every four years my celebration gets forgotten in the excitement of thanksgiving. whooopie.

Turns out I do share my birthday with a writer: Frederico García Lorca.
I haven't read anything of his, but I understand he's very well thought of.

Pancho Villa, too, was born today.
