what do you guys think? do you think that they will ever unite?

In some people's minds, they already have. One of my student's mothers is a Chemistry professor and a devote Christian. However, I think what you're looking for is a world-wide acceptance; and that is doubtful to ever happen. We all have our own perspectives and ideas and to think that they will all unite is rather unrealistic.
