god says to forgive the same person seven times and more...

meaning if a person murders your family, you, and then kills themself..do you forgive them or does god...

If said person murders me I think the window of opportunity is over. Sorry had to be said. I believe God means to teach people the principle of being of a mind set that is prone to forgive offenses rather then score keep the sins/crimes committed against you. Ultimately I have so much going against me it's arrogant (of me) to be worrying about John Doe when I need forgiveness from others more. I further believe that this shows the patience and long suffering of the Lord towards us. Hope this helps.
