Becky and I feel like being giggly teenage girls today. :D
So here's a thread to place pics and thoughts on the lovely sex gods and goddesses of the world. (Because even literature geeks have a flakey side, right? :p)

Oh boy, do I feel dumb.

So: indisputably (no, don't dispute it!) the most indominable sex god in the universe:

Oh yes, Vigo is good. :D But only as Aragorn. :( He looks like Woody Harrelson in real life.

Emily, have you seen the 'Closer' vid? Wow. Trent half naked and tied up. Erm... I have to, um... bathroom. Excuse me. *giggle*

OK, how comes Johnny Depp looks hot with a PLAIT in his hair? Hell, he could seduce me dressed as a pirate. Jack Sparrow is lurvely.

I have the same last name as Vigo, and I'm also from Denmark. (I always say that to people who are hot on him, just to piss them off.)

Lolita
05-20-2004, 05:35 PM
OK... I'm agreeing with Emily about Viggo only looking hot as Aragorn.
But girls are you with me that Aragorn does NOT look good with washed hair? Maybe it's me, but I am all Aragorn as he looks when he pushes open those double doors looking very dirty and very in need of some TLC. Hehehe.

05-20-2004, 05:40 PM
LMAO well of course.

Closer is my favorite video of all time. :D Has been since it came out when I was in 3rd grade. It was my first feeling of, "hey, this scares me. Why do I love it??" :D

He's getting a little up there for me. But have you seen Truly, Madly, Deeply? Alan Rickman is so sweet in that.

I like the avatar. :)

Lolita

Seen TMD. Not so keen on the facial hair on Alan in that film.

He is just so incredibley hot.

Yep, I agree Aragorn looks way better dirty and scruffy.

Help! I've spent most of the mornig looking for a picture of Tom Morello (not that I find him all that cute, but for some reason he's damn sexy) but I can't find one, and I don't seem to be able to put a link in my post either. :brickwall

Yay I'm soooo teenager-ish lately!!!

Firstly, I have to say that I much prefer Brian Molko that way ---> long hair wondering what sex he is, than now with short hair...

Then... you'll have to teach me how to attach/upload pics....

I love Johnny Depp. The very top! At his best in the Jack-the-Ripper thing, or maybe that's just because I love the style of the 19th century and decadent heroes... Btw, I've seen some 18th century style movies lately and I know it's stupid but I love how men were dressed... I need to call someone at Hollywood and make them make a movie with Depp dressed in 18th century way...

Then... Now you'll shout whoooo and that's why I need to post pics but... Talking of guys been on drugs and looking great anyway... my absolute idol, Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode!!!

And my crush of when I was 16...U2's drummer, Larry Mullen... Haven't seen anything from the band lately but until a couple of years ago he was...er...*just drools*

And all these guys are over 40!!!

emily655321
05-21-2004, 03:33 PM
LMAO

If you google someone, then go to the images results, you can open the thumbnail onto its own page. (That's how I found to do it, anyway.) Then copy/paste the link and put it like this:
http whatever (no spaces) . That puts the pic right in the post.

To put an attachment, you have to download it and save it on your harddrive. Then go to "post reply" (or "go advanced" from the quick reply box), scroll down, and hit "manage attachments." A window opens where you can choose the JPEG/GIF and upload it.

Well, I thought of someone under 30! Someones, actually. Everyone pays attention to Brandon Boyd (center), but Kris Kilmore (bot.left) does not get nearly as much hot-guy attention as he clearly deserves. But then they're all so damn cute, I'm just going to submit Incubus collectively as one big vortex of cuteness :D

I love Jean Reno!!! I'm not much of a movie fan, but the ones he did with Luc Besson are among my favourites!!! If I'm not wrong that Natalie Portman is the little girl from Leon... She did grow up very well... :) How old is she by now?

Wouldn't food be a more proper item to drool over? Perhaps a little chocolate raspberry torte, triple chocolate german cake, key lime pie, homemade blackberry ice cream, brandy soaked angel food cake, chocolate expresso cheesecake, maybe some tiaramisu?

emily655321
06-05-2004, 04:00 AM
No. :p
I'd eat rice cakes for life if I could have Trent Reznor instead.

(Note how I didn't sink to the level of a more obvious response. ;))

simon
06-05-2004, 04:04 AM
And who is trent reznor? Perhaps the two need to be combined, I'm sure if you are that infatuated with him it would be pleasurable to coat him in chocolate and lick him clean.

That is disgusting.

LMAO 1) first gentleman on this thread; post #1. 2) Your imagination regarding "food" and "men" is obviously cleaner than mine. ;)

simon
06-05-2004, 03:18 PM
I just don't have much expereince with the two, food is my forte. Given the choice between johnny depp and a chocolate cake being run over by a car I would be more inclined to save the cake, only out of a miniscule sense of duty to humanity would I save him, but also he is as close to chocolate as any human being will ever get.

Koa
06-05-2004, 04:37 PM
my god girls this is difficult...chocolate or johnny depp... it's really too hard.... as much as my hormones are near to suicide for lack of material, chocolate is chocolate....but as much as chocolate is chocolate, a man would be so much more than I'm allowed to dream of... Ehy wasnt J Depp in that movie about Chocolate? Maybe that's the answer!!! :D:D:D

Burton's good, but Big Fish was too happy for my taste.

trismegistus
06-06-2004, 09:00 PM
Burton has his ups and downs. He's capable of gems like Edward Scissorhands but then he'll offer complete trainwrecks like Planet of the Apes

And we need a "shrug" emoticon.

simon
06-07-2004, 01:28 AM
Oh is he the fool that did Planet of the apes, what a pity to have created something as ludicrous and ridiculous as that. I didn't much like Sleepy Hollow either.

emily655321
06-07-2004, 11:52 AM
Yeah, honestly Frankenweenie, Ed Wood, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and Edward Scissorhands are the only Burton movies I've enjoyed. And Nightmare Before Christmas, of course, which is a half-Burton movie. Big Fish was a huge disappointment to me, although Matthew McGrory (who played the giant) I found thoroughly wonderful. I wish the movie had been more of a vehicle for him, because he's just the sort of person you want to get to know better -- and he seemed like the only actor in the movie who "got" how to act in a Tim Burton movie.

Burton definitely delivers flops pretty reliably, but I'm always holding out for the next Edward, because he's done it before, so you know he has it in him. When he's good he's soooo good -- and Johnny Depp and he just seem born to work together. That's why I'm still holding out hope for Willy Wonka.
